    QA Engineer

    Tested complex systems for a living and learned that quality is invisible when it works, then very visible when it does not. Carried that to every product since.

  2. Step 02

    Mortgage Loan Officer

    Closed loans. Watched borrowers wrestle calculators that lied or overcharged. Built HT Calc to fix it.

  3. Step 03

    Realtor

    Sat across from buyers reading PDFs they did not understand. Realized the gap between tools that exist and tools that respect your time is wider than the industry admits.

Most of what shipped over the last three years asks for your card before it admits what it does. HassTech's posture is the opposite: the free tier is the real product. Paid tiers exist for compute we have to actually pay for. Anything that can run on your machine, will.

Built on open standards and open-source where possible. The portable parts are portable. No proprietary lock-in for the price of convenience.

The free tier is the real product. No credit card walls, no verification gates between you and a working tool. If it costs us money to run for you, we will say so honestly.
